ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED WOMAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (EDWOSB)

Certification enables holders to be a part of the 5% set aside in the federal budget of $500 billion for businesses in this category.

Basic Requirements:

1. Business must hold an active SAM registration.
2. Business must be at least 51% held by one or more women.
3. Personal net worth of women owners less than $750 000.
4. Average earnings of preceding three years less than $350 000
5. Market value of all assets of business, including private residence of owner(s) is less than $6 million.
